These events feature hands-on, industry relevant security education taught by utility industry professionals. This Colorado Springs event features two tracks:

Track 1 – Real-time Defense
This 4.5 day track will focus on topics relevant to front-line defenders fighting the daily battle against security threats. This track will include a full-day tabletop exercise of real security incidents. See the full agenda for details.

Track 2 – Operations Technology for Cybersecurity Professionals
This 4.5 day track will provide in-depth technical knowledge of operational techology used in substations, generating plants, distribution systems, and control centers to provide a knowledge foundation for security defenders. See the full agenda for details.

We believe that a community of peers is critical to our mutual success in securing critical systems. To support that, Education Weeks include a variety of networking events designed to build relationships within industry and strengthen the community of cybersecurity professionals in our sector. Lunch will be provided each day, and a group dinner will be arranged Mon-Thu evenings. Evening activities will be arranged to provide additional networking time.

We have secured a room block at the rate of $169/night. All educational events will take place at the hotel, but some evening events will take place offsite. Ground transportation will be provided where needed between the hotel and event venues.

The Marriott is located about 80 minutes from Denver International Airport, or 25 minutes from Colorado Springs airport.
